Quick Strike Program

The Quick Strike Program ("Quick Strike") helps community-based development organizations to gain site control of critical sites that will transition into community-lead development and revitalization projects. The program provides project funds for acquisition of real property and acquisition related expenses.

The Department of Community and Economic Development ("DCED") funds this program through local organization HomeBase Cincinnati. HomeBase Cincinnati then contracts and manages the program from start to finish.

Goal

The goal of Quick Strike is to support neighborhood projects that will have an outsized impact on catalyzing their neighborhood’s transformation, revitalization, and activation through the development of housing and/or commercial opportunities. The program supports high impact projects that might struggle to receive funding during critical timelines.
