Join the Urban Manufacturing Alliance, DesignHouse, and CoMADE for Cincinnati’s first Design Jam
The Urban Manufacturing Alliance, in partnership with DesignHouse and CoMADE, is hosting their first collaborative Design Jam in Cincinnati this February! We are working with Cincinnati Made, the Minority Business Accelerator, and other local organizations to create a one-of-a-kind workshop that bridges the gap between local manufacturing and design.
During this event, you will learn about how design can benefit local manufacturing and be part of a design thinking workshop exploring innovative ideas with other attendees for real problems facing real manufacturers in your community.
Come tackle a design challenge with your peers to brainstorm new product ideas using specific manufacturing processes, materials, and markets to:
- Inspire innovation within the manufacturing sector;
- Learn about how designers and manufacturers are collaborating in your area; and,
- Network with designers, manufacturers, makers, and manufacturing service providers.
A thriving manufacturing sector brings good paying jobs to all communities. Support this work to bridge the gap between manufacturing and industrial design to strengthen our local manufacturing economy.
