Project Highlights

Every year, we oversee hundreds of projects. Here are a few of our major accomplishments these past few years...

Medpace

Partnering with the state of Ohio, JobsOhio, and REDI Cincinnati, we secured a deal with major global clinical contract research organization Medpace that will have an unprecedented economic impact for Cincinnati.

By leveraging incentives and strategic partnerships, Medpace committed to investing $150 million to expand operations in Cincinnati!

Combined with our first Medpace deal in 2016, we secured a total of:

2,150 jobs

including physicians, lab technicians, clinical research associates, data analysts, financial analysts, software engineers and more.

$125.7 Million

in payroll and $157 million in fixed asset investments

Emerge

This project represents a multi-year manufacturing project led by the City of Cincinnati in collaboration with regional partners such as The Port, REDI Cincinnati, JobsOhio, to transform an unproductive site with historical significance in an underserved neighborhood -- once home to Cincinnati Gardens -- into a place that will improve residents' quality of life through meaningful local job-creation and community economic impact.

It has been repurposed to host Emerge Manufacturing, a minority-owned, women-led company founded by Cincinnati local and Woodward alumna Cynthia Booth to bring PPE manufacturing back to the U.S.

To make this happen, the City worked with Port to sell the land and utilize incentive programming to ensure its success, leaned on key partnerships, and supported Ms. Booth’s unwavering dedication to her company’s mission.

Emerge will create:

100 jobs

in the neighborhood, all while transforming a truly iconic location, making it an emblem of the type of investment that will shape the future of Cincinnati
