Cincinnati Neighborhoods: Westwood

Incorporated in 1868, Westwood saw early popularity as an escape from the City center, with enough space to spread out and downtown still nearby.  Currently Cincinnati’s largest neighborhood, its more than 30,000 residents are treated to a variety of home styles, from bungalow to Tudor, ranch to Victorian.  Westwood is also home to CiTiRAMA development Woodcrest Park.  Residents still enjoy the views and location that made Westwood popular in its early years, as well as parks like Bracken Woods and Mount Airy Forest.

Neighborhood development is led by the Westwood Civic Association, which remains active in its mission to connect residents to each other and to city council, and to communicate challenges, issues, and events.
