Cincinnati Neighborhoods: Mount Lookout
Annexed in 1870, Mount Lookout is folded into Cincinnati’s eastern neighborhoods. Bordered by Linwood to the east, Columbia-Tusculum to the south, and Hyde Park to the west and north, Mount Lookout packs a lot into the 1.5 square miles it encompasses. Mount Lookout Square offers a variety of restaurants, bars, retail, and services. The services and retail keep the space bustling during the day, and the area comes alive at night for food, drinks, and entertainment.
Surrounding the square, the mostly residential streets are quiet. School options in the neighborhood include St. Ursula Villa School, Kilgour School, and Cardinal Pacelli School. Cincinnati’s fourth-largest park, Ault Park, spans more than 223 acres in the neighborhood. The park hosts hikers, weddings, political campaign stops, car shows, and much more. Neighborhood development is led by the Mount Lookout Community Council.
