Cincinnati Neighborhoods: Mount Adams
Mount Adams, located just east of Downtown, is one of Cincinnati’s oldest historic districts. Named after President John Quincy Adams, who in 1843 delivered the dedication address for what was then known as the world’s most powerful observatory, Mount Adams has long enjoyed a tradition of fine wine, art and entertainment. On any given day or night you can find the area bustling with activity from businesses, residents and tourists. The City continues to invest resources in maintaining the historic community and revitalizing some of Cincinnati’s oldest heritage.
